Mission and editorial independence

Erick Prometeo Media is an independent political journalism outlet founded and directed by Erick Serrano. We cover political affairs across Europe, the Americas, and internationally.

Our outlet operates from a conservative right-of-center editorial base while maintaining comprehensive and impartial reporting on all major political stories. We are not affiliated with any political party, government body, corporate entity, or external funding source. Editorial decisions are made solely by Erick Serrano and the EPM editorial team.

Two-perspective editorial framework

Every article on EPM is produced in two editorial voices — Progressive (🌿) and Conservative (🏛️) — and published in both English and Spanish. This framework is designed to:

• Give readers multiple analytical lenses on the same verified facts
• Eliminate forced editorial bias by presenting competing interpretations
• Encourage readers to form their own conclusions

Both perspectives are clearly labeled. Neither constitutes the outlet's sole institutional view. The underlying facts in both versions are identical and verified.

Fact-checking and source standards

Before any article is published, EPM applies the following standards:

• Source verification: All articles are based on reporting from established international outlets including Reuters, AP, BBC, El País, Le Monde, The Guardian, NPR, The New York Times, and others. Source articles are linked directly within each piece.
• Factual accuracy: Claims about events, policies, or statements are drawn directly from primary sources. Opinion and analysis are clearly separated from reported facts.
• Attribution: Original reporting and quotes are attributed to their sources. Third-party materials are referenced under principles of fair use and editorial commentary.
• No fabrication: EPM does not publish invented quotes, fabricated events, or unverified claims presented as fact.

Artificial intelligence disclosure

Erick Prometeo Media uses AI-assisted writing tools as part of its editorial production workflow. Specifically:

• AI tools are used to research, draft, and structure articles based on verified source material
• All AI-generated content is reviewed, edited, and published under the direct editorial supervision of Erick Serrano
• The AI tools do not independently select topics, fabricate sources, or publish without editorial approval
• Final editorial judgment — including what to publish, what to correct, and what to retract — rests solely with the human editorial team

Corrections policy

We are committed to correcting errors promptly and transparently:

• Factual errors: If a published article contains a material factual error, we will correct it as soon as it is identified or reported. Corrections are noted within the article.
• Significant corrections: If an error fundamentally affects the meaning of an article, the article may be retracted or substantially revised, with a clear notice explaining the change.
• How to report: Readers who identify errors may contact us at erickprometeomedia@gmail.com with subject line "Correction Request". We aim to respond within 48 hours.

Conflicts of interest

Erick Prometeo Media maintains the following policies to avoid conflicts of interest:

• We do not accept payment from political campaigns, government agencies, or advocacy organizations for editorial coverage
• We do not accept gifts, press trips, or other benefits from news subjects that could influence coverage
• Revenue is generated solely through advertising (Google AdSense) and does not influence editorial decisions
• The outlet has no financial interest in any political party, company, or organization covered in our reporting
